WHAT IS KOMBUCHA?

“Kombucha originated in Eastern China over 2000 years ago. Legend has it the Japanese Emperor got word of a Korean physician who could cure all kinds of illnesses with his specially fermented tea. The emperor summoned the man, named Kombu, to his palace. After the emperor got cured he named the drink after the man, resulting in “Kombucha” where ‘Cha’ stands for tea.”

OUR STORY

Ferm Kombucha, founded in 2016, is a producer/distributor of craft brewed organic kombucha tea, based in Gent-Belgium.

Ferm Kombucha wants to be a healthy alternative for overly sweet and unhealthy soft drinks and provide the consumer a healthy way of enjoying leisure with friends and family.
